FAQs
I am an artist or performer - how do I perform at Art All Night 2026?
Artists can register for our artist directory by completing the form at THIS LINK. This directory will be shared with Art All Night 2026 event organizers.
Who chooses artists, vendors, performers, and locations for Art All Night?
The Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) does not directly program Art All Night. Each of the individual neighborhood events that make up “Art All Night” across the city is hosted by our partners on our Main Street commercial corridors, libraries, or our Business Improvement Districts (BIDs).
Each year, participating neighborhoods and locations are individually responsible for their events and have their own recruitment processes. Usually, the best course of action is to reach out to them directly.
How do I become an Art All Night location/venue?
To be an official location or venue, you need to work either directly with DSLBD or be under the umbrella of one of the participating neighborhood events that year. If you have a physical location, it's wherever you are. If you’re a vendor or a roving location, you cannot set up individually; you must be a registered vendor under a Main Street, library, or BID event.
Interested in being a vendor? Join the VENDOR DIRECTORY. Similar to our artist directory, this directory will be shared with Art All Night 2026 event organizers.
How do I volunteer for Art All Night?
Similar to the process for performers, each neighborhood event recruits its own volunteers. Volunteers should find the nearest neighborhood Main Street programs and reach out to them directly, or check their social media channels for volunteer opportunities.
Which neighborhoods / Main Streets / BIDs are participating in Art All Night 2026?
Mayor Muriel Bowser announced the participating neighborhoods for Art All Night 2026 on March 10, 2026. Stay tuned for additional details and programming highlights as the event approaches.
